Let me start with: laziness and stupididty are the 2 main attributes that i detest. Don't let me down.
Main issues: be proactive (fine line between being proactive and annoying - ask pete). Keep your eyes glued on the screens for stories - get a quick analysis from research or tim - is there are sotry or not. If too many questions - put it out anyway and summarize NON story or relevant. This is your office, you are running the company.
BOMS - u are specialist - don't slack off. We are doing a good job there.
BLOOMS - get them out before 11am instead of munching on M and Ms.
Pete gone next week - morning call to london, and market comment - all you.
Clients:
***CLIENT1*** - call if u think story going to affect mrkt.
***CLIENT2***- long -i'll be in touch with him. BUT DON'T BE NEGATIVE ON trnfp, sber, mbt or gazprom. Main positions.
***CLIENT3*** - told him will be travelling - still looking to pick up some trnfp - give him as much color about who activevly trading the stock and flows we see.
***CLIENT4**- Tim back - don't think u need to worry.
***CLIENT5***- bloom with him, he may have some business.

That's about it - run the desk it's not vacation time yet, don't let me down.

Went to Sweden. Wanted to put up a few photos before I crash. Amazing place and I know I'll be going there again and again because its close and I have clients there. Today was my 1 year aniverasry party at BUBS MOscow. The guys threw me a party. I got an earful about some stuff so I'm a bit stunned. I'll tell you all the story later. I want to focus on a few stockholm moments. I'll elaborate later.
Why not, its only Wednesday
Part two....the night kept going. It was pretty insane and at one point there was a rumor about a suitcase of money arriving to help us all out. I didn't gamble but I still was involved in the madness. Its really really early in the AM (I have to wake up in 2 hours!) Why am I blogging...I'll finish this story next week...
No music on my Radio
Part one of a very long night. Me and Ksenia went as the band client's guest to their show in Moscow. I think this was their 3rd show in the last year in Moscow. Ksenia has never heard of their music before but she seemed to have a great time anyways. Afterwards we hung out with the band backstage before making our way back to the party outside. More to blog, but I have to pack now. Tonight was also Nick's birthday party. I HAD TO GO, I couldn't miss it. After the concert it was 11:30pm and my night was just beginning...
Still just some kid playing kickball...
---FOR MJE:
Rules For Elementary
School Kickball-
The rules for kickball are closely related to those of baseball. The main difference is that kickball involves a big rubber ball . The ball is about the size of a basketball.
Kickball is played on a field with 4 bases arranged on the corners of a diamond-shaped "infield". However, since the game is played mostly by grade school kids in low-budget districts, the "bases" are reduced to "this patch of rocks", "this smashed tin can", or "this cool shaped stick". If you are a more privileged player, you may get "yellow spray - painted bases on black top," or "orange rubber throw - down bases." Player positions are also similar to those of baseball.
There is an "infield" and an "outfield." The infield contains the positions that involve the bases, while the outfield is mainly designated to catching or retrieving the ball when it is kicked out of the infield. Actual playing positions vary depending on the number of kids that are actually playing. If there are only a few children playing, the positions are usually spread out, but if there are a good number of players, kids will position themselves wherever there is space ( and no cooties ).
Game play goes as follows: the ball is rolled towards home plate, and the player which is up ( kicking ), tries to kick the ball . If the ball is caught in the air, the kicker is out. A player is also out if the ball is thrown at them, and hits them while they are not touching a base. If a thrown ball misses them, they may only run to the next base, which is known on the kickball field as the "one base on an overthrow" rule. Also similar to baseball, if the ball is thrown to the first base man, and it is caught by the first base man while he/she/it is touching first base, the player running to first base is out. This is known as a "forced out" in that the runner was forced to run to that base. A "forced out" can occur on any base that a runner is forced to run to.
Once a team gets 3 outs, the teams switch sides. A team gets one point for having a runner make it all the way around the bases and back to home base.
The game is over when the school bell rings, the ball pops, or the ball is lost in such acts as kicking the ball into the street or onto the roof. At the end of the game, the team with the most points wins. However, if a team loses the ball by kicking it one the roof etc., that team automatically loses. Also, the kid that did it becomes instantly unpopular.
